Hey tattoo enthusiasts and Tattoo Nightmares fans! It’s incredible to see the outpouring of support since Tattoo Nightmares aired. I’m truly grateful for each and every one of you. Because of the show and your amazing support, my appointment book has become even more in demand, and I want to make the booking process as clear as possible, especially for those looking to fix their own tattoo nightmares.
For years, I’ve had a waiting list, and with Tattoo Nightmares bringing in even more requests, especially for cover-up work, patience is key. To help streamline things, and answer many of your questions, here’s everything you need to know about booking an appointment with me at Art Junkies Tattoo.
How to Book a Tattoo Appointment (Non-Cover Up Work)
If you’re looking for a new piece and not a tattoo nightmare cover-up, here’s the process:
Shop Location and Hourly Tattoo Rates
My tattoo shop is Art Junkies Tattoo, located in Hesperia, California. My standard hourly rate for tattoo work that isn’t a cover-up is $200. Please note that rates are subject to change in the future.
Email for Regular Tattoo Appointments
To book a regular tattoo appointment, please email me at [email protected]. I will not respond to cover-up inquiries sent to this email address, so please use the dedicated email below for tattoo nightmares.
Booking a Tattoo Nightmares Cover-Up Appointment
Are you living with a tattoo nightmare? I understand the struggle, and I specialize in transforming those unwanted tattoos into something you’ll love. If you’re seeking a cover-up, especially inspired by Tattoo Nightmares, here’s the specific process:
Dedicated Email for Tattoo Nightmares Cover-Up Inquiries
For all tattoo nightmare cover-up appointment requests related to the show or otherwise, please email [email protected]. Due to the volume of emails, please allow 1-2 weeks for a response.
Essential Information for Cover-Up Tattoo Inquiries
To assess your tattoo nightmare and determine if it’s a cover-up I can tackle, please include the following in your email:
- Clear Photos: Send photos of your existing tattoo from multiple angles. Good lighting and clear focus are crucial.
- Show the Area: Make sure the photos show the entire tattoo and the surrounding skin. This helps me understand the size, placement, and complexity of the tattoo nightmare you want covered.
Cover-up work is more complex and requires more time and expertise. Therefore, my hourly rate for cover-up tattoos, especially those considered tattoo nightmares, ranges from $250-$300 per hour, depending on the difficulty.
Other Inquiries and Important Information
To further clarify, here are answers to other frequently asked questions:
Media, News, and Interview Requests
For all media inquiries, news publications, and interview requests, please contact me at [email protected]. Allow 1-2 weeks for a response.
Tattoo Appointments at Conventions
If you’re hoping to get tattooed by me at one of the many conventions I attend throughout the year, please email [email protected]. Response time is also 1-2 weeks. Convention schedules are announced on my blog and social media.
Purchasing Art and Clothing
Love the art and clothing you’ve seen on Tattoo Nightmares or at conventions? Visit my online store at biggusink.com to purchase merchandise.
Custom Tattoo Drawings
Due to my busy schedule and long waiting list, I am unable to create custom tattoo drawings for other artists to tattoo.
Artist Referrals
With so many talented tattoo artists out there in different cities and styles, I cannot provide personal artist referrals. I recommend using the internet, social media, and word-of-mouth to research artists and review portfolios to find the best fit for your tattoo style.
Convention and Guest Spot Announcements
Stay updated on my convention appearances and guest spots by following my blog, shop website, and Facebook page. Links to all my social media are available on my website: www.biggusink.com.
Clarification on the Tattoo Nightmares Shop
The Tattoo Nightmares shop you see on TV is exclusively used for filming with Jasmine, Tommy Helm, and myself. It’s located in Los Angeles and is not where I regularly work. There is no phone number for this filming location.
Madison Tattoo Shoppe Misconception
I do not work at Madison Tattoo Shoppe in North Hollywood. My partnered tattoo shop is Art Junkies Tattoo in Hesperia, California (www.artjunkiestattoos.com).
Being on the Tattoo Nightmares TV Show
If you are interested in being on the Tattoo Nightmares show to get your tattoo nightmare covered up on television, please contact Spike Casting directly. Neither my shop manager Robin nor myself have any input in the casting process. Visit www.spike.com for information on story and tattoo cover-up submissions for the show.
Contact and Booking Summary
For the most efficient communication, please use email ([email protected] or [email protected]) rather than Facebook messages. This helps us keep track of all inquiries.
To be added to my waiting list for any tattoo work, including tattoo nightmare cover-ups, you MUST send an email. We do not add names to the waiting list via internet messages or social media.
Thank you so much for your understanding and enthusiasm. I look forward to helping you get amazing tattoos and transform those tattoo nightmares into dream ink!
