Radiation Mark Removal for Cancer Survivors
For cancer patients seeking removal of radiation marks, the New Beginnings program offers a straightforward path to access services. To participate in the Radiation Mark Removal program, patients are required to furnish the physician with an official approval letter from their oncologist or radiologist confirming the suitability of radiation mark (tattoo) removal.
This complimentary service is available to all cancer survivors and is not limited to specific cancer types such as breast cancer or lymphoma. The program is accessible throughout the year, providing continuous support for those in need.
Branding Tattoo Removal for Survivors of Sex Trafficking
The New Beginnings program extends its pro bono services to survivors of sex trafficking who have branding tattoos. Eligibility for this service requires patients to be actively engaged in, or have completed, a rehabilitation program or a recovery support group affiliated with the National Trafficking Sheltered Alliance.
Patients seeking branding tattoo removal must provide documentation from their case manager verifying their status as sex trafficking survivors and confirming they are at a stable and appropriate stage in their recovery to undergo tattoo removal. This program is also offered year-round, ensuring consistent access to care for survivors.
