Understanding Piercing Healing Times
Healing times for body piercings can differ significantly from person to person. The approximate healing times provided below are general guidelines for healthy piercings in most individuals. Your personal healing journey might be faster or slightly longer. It’s crucial to maintain the suggested aftercare routine for at least the duration specified for your specific piercing to ensure proper healing and minimize complications.
Once the initial healing period is complete, diligent twice-daily cleaning is no longer necessary. However, we still recommend cleaning your piercing once a day to maintain hygiene and prevent irritation. After full healing, you can confidently change your jewelry. Remember that even a healed piercing can shrink if jewelry is removed for extended periods, potentially making reinsertion uncomfortable. If you love your piercing, we advise keeping jewelry in place to maintain the opening.

Important Information Regarding Minor Piercings
For individuals under the age of 18 seeking piercings, specific requirements must be met without exception. A parent or legal guardian must be present at the studio to sign all necessary release forms. Both the minor and the parent/legal guardian are required to present valid government-issued photo identification. Acceptable forms of ID include driver’s licenses, passports, state-issued IDs, military IDs, and valid school photo IDs. For minors below driving age, a photo ID and birth certificate with a state seal are acceptable.
Please be aware that photocopies of identification documents are not accepted. If the parent’s last name differs from the minor’s, legal documentation verifying the relationship, such as a birth certificate, divorce papers, or adoption papers, is mandatory. Court-issued documentation is required to establish legal guardianship. For clients between 13 and 17 years of age, we offer piercings on the face, ears, and navel only. We do not perform genital piercings on any minors under the legal age of 18.
