Growing up immersed in the tranquil farm life just outside Dell Rapids, South Dakota, my journey into the world of tattooing was somewhat unexpected. While agriculture was a constant backdrop, my father, a skilled carpenter with a sharp eye for design, unknowingly set the stage for my artistic path. From a young age, drawing captivated me, and he nurtured this passion by sharing his technical drafting expertise, honed through years of crafting custom cabinetry. Witnessing his unwavering commitment to quality and the recognition it garnered instilled in me a profound respect for meticulous craftsmanship, a principle I carry into every tattoo design I create and ink onto my clients.
Years of dedicated practice have equipped me with the proficiency to masterfully execute a diverse array of contemporary tattoo styles. I wholeheartedly embrace the vast spectrum of artistic expressions within the tattoo world today. My repertoire includes a deep appreciation and expertise in American Traditional, Fine-line, Black and Grey, Stipple, Floral, Japanese, Geometric, and Ornamental tattooing. Equally fulfilling are the smaller, deeply personal pieces that serve as lasting reminders of cherished memories and emotions. I firmly believe that no piece is more significant than the individual I am working with at any given moment and the unique vision we collaborate on to bring to life on their skin.
My current artistic exploration is fueled by a fascination with modern architectural aesthetics and the rich tapestry of multicultural textiles and ornamentation. I find myself particularly drawn to the elegance of Art Nouveau and Deco styles, as well as the intricate beauty of Middle Eastern and Southeast Asian motifs. The opportunity to integrate these influences into my work is a source of immense excitement. I am deeply committed to a design-centric approach that not only complements but truly accentuates the wearer’s individuality.
